Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to plan your trip. This page explains what that is, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 4 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Plan Georgia is operated by Wine Selection LLC (identification number 405532552), Georgia, the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at info@plangeorgia.ge for anything privacy-related.
2. What we collect and why
Booking requests. When you send a booking inquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, number of travellers and the tours, dates and add-ons you chose. We use this only to confirm availability, reply to you, send a payment link, run your trip, and keep records of the booking.
Messages. If you email or WhatsApp us, we keep the conversation so we can help you and remember what we agreed.
Health or safety details. If you tell us about a medical condition or dietary need so we can run your tour safely, we use it only for that purpose.
Usage statistics. We use cookieless analytics (Umami and Vercel Analytics) to count visits and see which pages are useful. These tools do not use cookies, do not track you across other websites, and do not build a profile of you.
Saved on your device. Your trip selection and booking references are stored in your own browser (local storage) so they're still there when you return. We don't receive this data, and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.
3. Why we're allowed to use it
We process booking data because it is needed to respond to your request and to carry out the booking contract with you. We keep booking records afterwards because the law requires us to keep accounting records. Analytics rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site working well. If you opt in to news and offers by email, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service:
- Resend: sends booking emails to us and to you.
- Wise: handles the 30% you pay to confirm your booking. We see the name and amount, never your card details.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Anthropic: powers the trip assistant chat. Your chat messages are processed to answer you; if you ask us to follow up, the trip details and contact you give in the chat are sent to our team by email. We note which page or campaign brought you to the site, so we know which of our ads and posts actually help travellers.
- Umami, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights: anonymous visit statistics.
- Our guides, drivers and partner suppliers: only the details they need to serve you on your trip (for example your name, group size and any relevant medical or dietary note).
Some of these providers are based outside Georgia and the EU/EEA, so your data may be processed in other countries, including the United States. Where that happens we rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards.
We also may disclose data where a law or authority requires it.
5. Cookies and third-party content
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Our analytics are cookieless. Some tour pages embed YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which only stores data once you press play, and video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube. Those services have their own privacy policies.
6. How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Confirmed booking records are kept for the period required by accounting and tax rules. Emails and messages are kept for as long as they're useful for your trip and any follow-up questions or claims.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send you a copy. You can object to how we use your data and withdraw any consent you gave, at any time. To do any of this, email info@plangeorgia.ge or message us on WhatsApp. We'll reply within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
8. Children
Our site is for adults planning travel. If you book for a group that includes children, please give us only the details we need about them (such as their age for pricing).
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
