Georgian Wine Tasting in Tbilisi
Five Georgian wines in central Tbilisi, tasted with your group only.
Travel guide
These are three routes I would suggest for a first trip to Georgia, built only from tours we run ourselves. Every tour starts and ends in Tbilisi, so you can join them up, swap one for another, or add a free day wherever you need one.

Each piece of these itineraries is one of our private tours: your own car and guide, only your group. Every tour picks you up in Tbilisi, at your hotel or the airport, and brings you back there at the end. That makes Tbilisi the hub, and it means the routes below are easy to rearrange.
The multi-day tours include the places you stay, as listed on each tour. The nights in Tbilisi between tours are yours to book, which also lets you choose the part of the city you want to stay in.
I leave a little air in each route. A free day in Tbilisi after a long drive is worth more than one more stop.

Wine country and the high Caucasus in one week, with Tbilisi at both ends.
If your flight leaves early on day 7, drop Mtskheta: it is the easiest piece to move. The full Kazbegi guide is here: Kazbegi day trip from Tbilisi.

Ten days gives you time for western Georgia. Keep days 1 to 6 from the 7-day route, then:
Rather have mountains than canyons? Take the Racha Private 4x4 Tour instead: five days by private Jeep through Upper Racha, one of the quietest corners of the Caucasus. It runs from June to September, and it makes the trip 11 days, or 10 if you skip the Kazbegi day.

Two weeks lets you go deep into the high mountains.
Svaneti is a long drive from Tbilisi, about 9 to 10 hours each way, which is why it sits after a rest day. If you'd rather skip that drive, swap it for the Goderdzi Private Mountain Tour: five days in the Adjara highlands with optional quad-bike and e-bike days and a 5-star hotel at the pass. That frees a day, which fits the Vardzia & Borjomi Private Heritage Tour. More on Svaneti in the Svaneti travel guide.
The 7-day route works from April to October. Kakheti is at its liveliest in September and October, during the grape harvest (rtveli), and the Kazbegi day trip and the tours around Tbilisi run all year.
The high-mountain pieces have a shorter season. Racha, Goderdzi and Svaneti are best from June to September, when the mountain roads are open. So for the 10-day route with Racha, or any 14-day route, plan for summer or early autumn. Month by month: the best time to visit Georgia.
Every tour has one price for your private group, with no hidden extras. Open a tour to see its price:
The exact price depends on the size of your group, and each tour page shows it for 2 to 4 guests.

Three days in Imereti, with two nights at Liluashvili's Marani, a family wine estate, and a private Jeep Wrangler with guide and driver.
